Athletics

facilities for children.
Climbing
Walls

Football/Soccer
Football
is played in most schools as well as in local playing fields for
teams in Saturday and Sunday leagues. The sports pages of your
local newspapers all feature the local boys (and girls) football
leagues and results. New players are always welcome.
The
National
Association of Youth Football Leagues website, although limited,
provides links to some local youth football associations and is
worth a visit even if it is only to get an understanding of what
is available.

Schools and Grammar Schools throughout the UK.

Sports
Rowing.
Most
Independent and some Grammar Schools have a thriving culture in
Rowing and many participate in the many national schools regattas.
Rowing clubs on the River Thames also encourage children of all
ages to participate. If you think you are a future 'Steve Redgrave'
or you just want to enjoy being on the river you will be welcome.
