What
To Bring With You
(and what NOT to bring !)
|
You
will be able to bring the majority of your belongings with you without
having to worry about rules, regulations and different standards
and specifications.
Electrical
appliances, pets and vehicles all fall into the 'worry' category.
Click on the hyperlinks below for information on what you need to
do.
Electrical
appliances because of the different voltages. Most small appliances
can be bought relatively cheaply in the UK. If you choose to bring
larger and more expensive appliances you will need a transformer
to enable them to work on the UK power supply.
Pets

Vehicles
because they must conform to the EU technical specifications.
Your vehicle can be modified in the UK.
Customs
and Excise also have a clearly defined list of Prohibited
Goods which you must not attempt to bring into the UK. Please
check it out.
