School Search Programmes

For parents with school-age children, the initial task in any move is to locate potentially suitable schools, determine the availability of places, and visit a selection of the better prospects. Where a child's education is at a difficult or demanding stage, as is often the case with teenagers, family perception of the move can be very mixed.

Once again, good quality information is the key to success, and we keep many guides and publications, such as the ISIS handbooks, in stock for clients. In order to make effective use of the many data sources, we also maintain our own computerised schools database, and this is the core element in our school search programmes. The database lists all schools in the UK, including special schools and schools with religious affiliations (e.g. Church of England and Catholic schools), and has been set up so that, given the age and sex of the child, and any parental preferences (e.g. single sex schools only), we can produce a full list of possible schools in any target postcode area

For families with pre-school children, we have a database of nursery and child care services throughout the UK.
